Our Sit-in/ Hourly Visits

Loneliness and social isolation can have serious effects on a person’s health and well-being. Many people we support simply want company and conversation, whether they live alone or need care and support anytime during the day whilst their family carers are away from the home.

Whatever support you need, our experienced Care Professionals will share in your interests and accompany you in whatever you like to do whether that’s crafting, going for a walk, playing games or enjoying music.

With Safehands Homecare, in case you might only want a few hours or a full day of support and whatever you need, we will match you with a Care Professional who will become a trusted companion who enables you to continue living a fulfilled and active life. Our sit-in or hourly care is also ideal for people living with dementia or for those recovering from a stroke or enduring a mental health need such as depression.

Advanced Dementia

If your loved one is living with advanced dementia and is unable to be left alone in their home, Safehands Homecare offers friendly live-in carerwho will assist you or your loved ones.We’ll spend time getting to know you and your routines and preferences so that you receive the perfect type and level of support for you

Physical disability

If you have severe physical needs and require constant personal aid around the home, this is something a live-in carer can always help with. We have experienced team, we’ve seen every emotion that finding care can bring, so we’ll offer as much guidance or support as you need

Palliative needs

If you’ve been diagnosed with a progressive or terminal condition and need support managing your symptoms, we can assist you or your loved ones with your care needs. As a company built on a foundation of family values, we treat each and every one of our customers as a member of our own

Age-related frailty

Perhaps you’re prone to regular falls or are unable to carry out day-to-day tasks around the home. Our carers can assist with mobility and the housework. You won’t need to worry about arranging cover if your carer is taken ill or needs a break; we’ll pair you up with someone just as brilliant

Living alone

If you or a loved one are living alone, our trained carers will provide you with valuable companionship and a constant source of friendly, reliable support. For every step of your care journey, we will be with you and we will assist you with your needs and will always be available for you.

Loved One Unable to Visit

It might be that your loved ones live too far away or aren’t able to visit regularly, perhaps you require personal care that you would prefer a carer to provide, we can assist you with that. Every Safehands Homecare staff receives the  comprehensive care training when they join us, as well as doing regular refresher courses.
